The last piss up of the year
December 31, 2007More hair
December 26, 2007When I was in early twenties, it looked like I was going to go bald early. I remember which much pain how this was pointed out to me by various people. However to due healthy living and regular masturbation I’ve managed to keep a pretty healthy head of hair. The biggest pleasure I’ve had over the years is seeing other people going bald. Ha, bloody, ha.. baldies.
The simple things in life.
December 26, 2007This Christmas break I’ve been getting up, cooking huge meals, playing with the kids, going for long walks with the dogs, listening to music and drinking lager. You would think a chap would get bored of these simple things. Nope, I love it. I can’t wait to give up work and make this my full time occupation. Only slight problem is that I can’t afford to stop work. Bugger….will give this some serious thought over the next few days. A good money making business venture or crime seem to be the best short term options.
I shouldn’t really complain about my job. I have a cushy job and it pays ok. But it just gets in the way of the above mentioned things I really want to do.
Dolly’s Tits
December 26, 2007All through my teens, 20s, 30s and 40s I’ve been into music. It started with glam rock, then punk and then indie/alternative music. Over the last 3 or 4 years I’ve been listening to more and more alt-country music. I’m quite proud that my musical taste evolves and moves off into different directions. I get the impression a lot of people get stuck in one period/style of music.
I used to hate the slide guitar found on most country music. Now I really love it’s twang. In fact, I’m convinced that heaven is full of twangy guitars not harps.
I found my spiritual home in Seattle. Jimmy Mac’s bar/restaurant. Served huge burgers, steaks and a good selection of beers. The waitresses looked like Dolly Parton and called me “Honey”. Best of all there was some cracking country music playing in the background. Maybe I watched too many westerns as a kid.

Growing hair on your face
December 23, 2007I’ve started growing a beard. It’s a kind of goaty thing which should get me into most gay clubs. I’ve always had problems growing hair on my lip. Could grow hair almost anywhere else on body but the lip has been my biggest challenge.
I’m still not sure if I can pull it off. I shall let it grow over the Christmas break and then decide if it will be a long time feature on the Miller face. Itches like shit at the moment.
Any words of encouragement would be greatly appreciated.
Christmas Beer and Turkey
December 21, 2007I’ve just bought the Christmas supplies of beer. So I got 20 bottles of Konig Pilsner and 10 bottles of Carlsberg. The Carlsberg may seem to some of you as a strange choice. But it’s brewed in Germany and has a lovely creamy texture. Correct cooling proceedures must be strictly adhered to. The König Pilsner came with a rather fancy free glass which made it a clear choice. I’ve always liked König Pilsner. The tv ads in Germany have stuck in my mind - ”Heute ein König”
I’ve already bought the Turkey. In fact, I’ve cut its legs off and ripped its back off, most satisfying. Any questions?
Children
December 17, 2007When I was 33 I didn’t have any children. I lived on my own. I had a stereo, a computer and a good porn collection. 10 years I’ve got 3 kids and loads of responsibility. Admittedly I’ve still got my stereo, computer (now 3) and the porn collection. However the 3 kids put a stop to any real me time.
The boys are 3 and 2. Lovely little blighters but a real bugger to look after. Hopefully as time goes on they’ll appreciate their dad’s love of music and war games. I’m counting on them playing the German side as they’ve got German passports.
Every time I put load music on the sods tell me to turn it down. Even my daughter moans about the volume. This isn’t the way things are supposed to be. I’m the one who bangs the floorboards with a broom and tells them to shut up.
Momo
December 13, 2007I’ve got 2 dogs. I did have 3 but one ran off (Lilli) or got stolen when we were away last summer. Momo is the father dog. Lilli (pictured as puppy) was the mother dog and Daisy the daughter dog. After Daisy arrived we cut Momo’s balls off.
Momo is mad and uncontrollable. He just has to escape and run around. We secured the bottom of the fence so he couldn’t dig his way out. So the bugger just jumped over the top of the fence. He hates being on a lead and is no fun to take for a walk. I’ve tried to break Momo’s spirit. It’s impossible. He was born a free spirit and will never submit to the lead.
As you can see Momo misses Lilli (the diappearing dog) greatly. He’s taken to shagging the next door cat. (Click on picture for better view)
Streaming Music
December 10, 2007
I’ve got a Squeezbox, TEAC WAP 500 and NOXON iradio. These nifty little devices stream music from my PC to my kitchen (NOXON), bedroom (squeezebox) and living room (TEAC). The missus shakes her head but I really do use all of them and often. When I’m cooking, lying in bed or on the sofa there’s my wonderful music collection or internet radio at my fingertips. Brill and I love my devices dearly.
Am I happy with this? No, I want more. I’ve also just a 80GB ipod so that I have my entire collection in the car or garden. I’m starting to fall in love with my ipod too.
Karate Kid – Life story (part 2)
December 9, 2007I was a big Stranglers fan. I especially thought the bassist JJ Burnel was particularly cool. JJ Burnel was into karate. So when I was 20 then I started going to karate lessons twice a week. It become my passion for the next 4/5 years. Training often 4/5 times a week. I got my black belt and then one year later gave up for good.
The benefits of the training were immense. I soon became really fit. I found a new confidence which would stay with me. I soon got into meditation and developed my spiritual side.
Things were looking up
